Job summary

Elect Capital is hiring a Loan Application Analyst in London to support underwriting by scrubbing applications and ensuring bank statements are clean and ready for decisioning.

You will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain daily scrubbing logs, and help move only complete files to the decisioning stage. A finance or accounting degree and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Finance, accounting, or related degree.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with data, documents and financial records.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and stay organized.
• Clear, efficient communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review loan application bank statements for accuracy, clarity and completeness.
• Identify errors, missing information, and inconsistencies in application packs.
• Liaise with underwriters, brokers and internal teams to clarify and correct submissions.
• Maintain a daily log of scrubbing activity and recurring issues to drive process improvements.
• Support operations and credit teams to ensure only clean files move to decisioning.
