Job summary

JSS is seeking a Debt Capital Markets Analyst in London to support BAU activities focused on secured funding lines and wholesale funding programmes. The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office.

You will prepare and analyse reporting, build data dashboards, and assist with system implementations while developing knowledge of securitisation and SME/consumer lending markets. Prior Excel and VBA skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree level education, ideally in a numerical field.
• At least one year’s experience in securitisation.
• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience of data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
• VBA and financial modelling experience.
• Knowledge of SME and consumer lending markets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly secured funding reporting.
• Prepare and support internal BAU reporting and ALCo materials.
• Produce compliance reporting accurately and on time.
• Assist with implementing a new secured funding system and testing.
• Design, build and maintain databases and dashboards.
• Summarise information for due diligence and internal analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Monitor market and regulatory developments and share updates.
• Manage departmental policies, costs, and invoicing.
• Support treasury and DCM strategic plans.
