Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver for a Hull-based client in the waste management sector. The role covers loading wagons, moving materials around site and maintaining cleanliness in line with company standards.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Shovel Loader License, can handle manual duties when required, and has PPE ready. Occasional shifts may include Saturdays; permanent prospects exist for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Holds a current/valid Shovel Loader License/Ticket (not in-house).
• Tractor experience would be beneficial.
• Telehandler ticket/license would be advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have all your own PPE.
• Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques; lifting and shifting.

Responsibilities

• Load wagons and screeners and move materials around site.
• Keep the site clean and tidy while adhering to safety standards.
• Occasionally work away from the shovel to assist in manual duties and sorting across the site.
