Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Driver for the Honey Pot Lane Composting Site in the UK. You will operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently, supporting the movement, loading and processing of composting materials across the site.

The role requires a valid loading shovel qualification and prior hands-on experience. You will work 08:00–17:00, maintain high safety standards and contribute to a tidy, efficient operation with the wider site team.

Qualifications

• Valid loading shovel qualification or competency card.
• Previous experience operating a loading shovel.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience in waste management, recycling or composting beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a loading shovel within a busy composting environment.
• Load, move and manage composting materials.
• Feed processing and screening equipment when required.
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily machinery checks and report any defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Follow all site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Support the wider site team when required.
