Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Loading Shovel Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in the Ruthin area. The role requires operating loading shovel and telehandler safely, loading hoppers, sorting/blending to spec, and accurate data recording.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months’ mobile plant experience, a valid licence, and a full UK driving licence, with commitment to health, safety and quality standards. Temporary to permanent opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience operating mobile plant machinery.
• Valid Loading Shovel, Telehandler, Rough Terrain or equivalent licence.
• Full UK driving licence and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovel and telehandler safely across the site.
• Load infeed hoppers and maintain continuous material flow.
• Sort and blend products to production specs and record data.
• Carry out daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Report faults or safety concerns promptly.
• Support waste management and housekeeping standards.
