Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a safety‑focused Bulk Side Operator to join a busy manufacturing site at Flixborough Industrial. You will operate the loading shovel and other mobile plant on 12‑hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off, and receive £13.00 per hour plus overtime after 48 hours.

Role includes keeping materials flowing to production lines, meeting targets, and maintaining strict safety and PPE standards.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date Loading Shovel Licence (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
• Good communication & problem-solving skills
• A proactive, team-focused attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the loading shovel & mobile plant (with daily checks)
• Keep raw materials flowing efficiently to production lines
• Work to production targets while maintaining safety & PPE standards
• SAP, and manage stock movement
• Support quality checks, correct labelling, and safe unloading
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvements
• Communicate effectively and ensure smooth shift handovers

£13.00 per hour | Guaranteed 48 hrs/week

Overtime: £19.50 per hour after 48 hrs
