Job summary

Dnata Ltd is recruiting a Loader Driver to cover 40 hours per week at Stanwell. The role involves transporting cargo pallets, containers and bulk freight to and from Airside/Landside and assisting with loading and off-loading.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence with CPC and Digi Tacho Card, and be able to work safely and independently. Previous airport driving is desirable but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK Class 1 & Class 2 driving licence including CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
• Safety conscious with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to train for dnata's vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo pallets, containers and bulk freight to and from Airside/Landside to bonded warehouses.
• Assist warehouse and ramp staff with loading and unloading of cargo onto vehicles.
• Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times.
• Typical 40 hours per week with roster changes according to seasonal schedules.

Job Summary

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals through to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared ready to travel.

The role involves the transportation of cargo pallets, containers and bulk freight to and from Airside/Landside to bonded warehouses. You will be required to assist the warehouse and ramp staff with off-loading/loading of cargo onto vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

• Previous airport driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidates who wish to share in dnata's vision, mission and values
• Previous air freight off-loading and loading experience, or similar, desirable
• Self-motivated, with the ability to manage own workload independently, and work on own initiative
• Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
• Full valid C + E (Class 1 & Class 2) UK driving licence including CPC and Digi Tacho Card is essential
• Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
