Middlesbrough Council is seeking a LMT Business Support Officer to support the Leadership Management Team in a fast-paced corporate office environment. You will be the first point of contact, handle confidential issues, and assist with diary management, meeting coordination and forward work planning.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills and discretion to liaise with senior officers, councillors and external agencies. A proactive approach is essential.
The role
We have an exciting role on offer within our Legal and Corporate service as a LMT Business Support Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the fast-paced corporate office, providing support to the Council’s Leadership Management Team.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be approachable and discreet and able to recognise when and how to deal with confidentiality issues and conflicting priorities.
The Business Support Officer will be the first point of contact for the Leadership Management Team and will have the ability to liaise with senior officers, councillors and outside agencies. Experience of diary management, meeting coordination, action-tracking and forward work planning / report management would be beneficial.
