Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Lloyds Corporate Financial Controller to lead the UK and overseas corporate finance functions and to head the finance operations team. The role demands strong accounting knowledge, UK GAAP/IFRS, and a proven ability to drive change while maintaining business-as-usual activities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance within Probitas Finance Leadership, you will collaborate with Aviva and Probitas stakeholders to deliver robust reporting, governance, and continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years in a senior finance role within insurance industry.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience with a proven track record in delivering finance change projects.
• Expert knowledge of accounting standards, both UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Skilled in financial reporting, data analysis and systems (SUN/Oracle GL desirable).
• Proven experience in insurance accounting and working across related corporate entities; Lloyd's market exposure is a strong advantage.

A bit about the job:

This role sits within the Probitas Finance Leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance. You'll lead both the corporate finance function across UK and overseas entities, and the finance operations team, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. • Salary circa £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
