Job summary

Miryco Consultants Ltd in London is seeking a Syndicate Accountant, full-time or part-time (3 days per week), to join a growing Lloyd’s-focused financial services business.

You will support financial accounting and reporting within a Lloyd’s environment, interact with actuarial and underwriting teams, and help build robust controls and processes for Solvency II and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience in syndicate accounting or Lloyd’s insurance.
• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s market and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review management accounts and reports.
• Assist Lloyd’s regulatory and financial reporting submissions.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting and finance teams.
• Support budgets, forecasts and year-end processes.
