Job summary

MS Amlin in London seeks a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a 6‑month fixed term contract. You will deliver Lloyd’s regulatory returns and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and robust controls within the Syndicate 2001 environment.

You’ll collaborate with actuarial, FP&A and finance operations, strengthening automated processes and supporting data-driven explanations of movements in financial accounts. This role requires ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent and a detail‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Lloyd’s Market and Lloyd’s reporting requirements.
• Strong controls and reconciliations experience.
• Good analytical and communication skills to articulate insights.
• Good organisational skills including scheduling, prioritisation and time management.
• Experience interpreting and manipulating data clearly and accurately.
• Proven track record in deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Lloyd’s regulatory returns for MS Amlin Syndicate 2001 with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure returns comply with regulatory requirements and submission standards.
• Strengthen automated controls and identify data deficiencies impacting submissions.
• Engage with actuarial, FP&A and finance ops for inputs and analysis.
• Perform analytical reviews to explain movements in financial accounts.
• Support training and continuous professional development within the team.
