Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the design, implementation and monitoring of its compliance program, aligning with Lloyd’s framework and regulatory expectations. You will engage with regulators and senior stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and governance across the business.

You will contribute to regulatory reporting, sanctions and financial crime considerations, and help drive improvements in processes and controls within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a Compliance Function within the Lloyd’s insurance market.
• Knowledge of insurance and/or financial services legislation and regulations.
• Experience improving or implementing processes or procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work well under pressure as part of a fast-paced team.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, monitoring and delivery of AXIS’s Compliance Plan.
• Assist in compliance oversight and advisory activity with Lloyd’s framework.
• Contribute to enhancement of AXIS regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
• Provide regulatory advice on sanctions and financial crime matters.
• Engage with Lloyd’s, PRA and FCA and respond to regulatory requests and inspections.
• Coordinate regulatory returns and governance documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist with regulatory change projects.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and boards.
