Job summary

Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care teams as Band 5 across GP practices and community hospitals in North Aberdeenshire and Banff & Fraserburgh clusters. Full-time 36h or part-time 21.6h weeks with scope for on-site duties in GP practices and other HSCP spaces.

We have opportunities available in North Aberdeenshire - Buchan cluster (various locations) and Banff & Fraserburgh cluster (various locations)

Full-time 36h or Part Time minimum 21.6 hours/week

We are looking for enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technicians to join our pharmacy teams to deliver pharmacy services to GP practices and community hospitals in North Aberdeenshire.

The ideal candidates will be able to work well within a team, under direction and on their own initiative. Through on the job support and training successful candidates will gain experience to allow them to undertake a wide range of tasks to support seamless care such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries including management of shortage and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing.

You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or already be working within GP Practice as a pharmacy technician. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving licence and use of a car is essential.

These posts can involve onsite working in North Aberdeenshire GP Practices and/ or working from other Aberdeenshire HSCP spaces (e.g. Formartine House Ellon, Maud Community Centre).
