Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a Livestock Instructor for a Northern Ireland Civil Service assignment with DAERA at CAFRE Greenmount Campus. You will deliver and assess practical livestock skills to Level 2 agriculture students, focusing on sheep and cattle handling, weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Agriculture and at least four GCSEs including English and Maths, with strong knowledge of sheep and cattle husbandry.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Agriculture required.
• GCSEs including English and Maths (minimum).
• Strong practical knowledge of sheep and cattle husbandry.

Responsibilities

• Teach practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 students.
• Assess learner competence in practical tasks.
• Record performance and provide feedback.
