Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Nurse or AHP for a fixed-term/secondment role in the Liver Specialist team at University Hospital Hairmyres. You will manage a specialist caseload, contribute to clinical audit and research, and support the development of colleagues.

The post requires NMC/HCPC registration, degree-level education, and a postgraduate qualification (or progress toward). The role offers a 36-hour week with a 12-month fixed term/secondment contract.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with valid professional registration (NMC/HCPC).
• Educated to degree level with additional postgraduate qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist caseload within a defined specialism.
• Contribute to clinical audit and research activities.
• Supervise and develop multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide effective leadership within the scope of the role.
