Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading software engineers and data engineers in a live services environment.
• Strong understanding of incident, change, and service resilience practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line manage Developers and Data Engineers, setting clear objectives and providing coaching.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of live software applications and data services, prioritising incidents and changes.
• Embed secure-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into service support and releases.
• Deliver controlled, time-bound changes to support business transition and data extracts.
• Provide reporting on service performance, incidents, risks, and capacity.
