Job summary

Build Space Group Ltd seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee a four-week project in Swindon, starting on 19 October 2026. You will manage on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure finishing works are completed safely and to a high standard within a live, occupied office environment.

The role requires SMSTS and TWC qualifications, proven experience in commercial fit-out or refurbishment, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to maintain programme and quality standards

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification required.
• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification required.
• Proven experience managing commercial fit-out, refurbishment or finishing works.
• Experience working within live, occupied office environments.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme and quality standards.
• Available to start on 19 October for the full four-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are delivered in line with the programme.
• Oversee finishing works, maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely, with minimal disruption to the building's occupants.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional site management.
• Coordinate site activities and manage access, sequencing and working arrangements within an occupied office.
• Monitor progress against the programme and address any issues that could affect completion.
• Ensure health and safety procedures, site documentation and quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
