Job summary

The Analyst, Live Service at London Stock Exchange Group plays a pivotal role in supporting extended-hours trading, ensuring market stability and resilience through real-time monitoring and incident response. Reporting to the Manager, Live Service, you will work across pre-trade and post-trade operations, liaising with Sales, Technology, and market participants to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-trade and post-trade operations and market surveillance.
• Ability to work extended hours and overnight shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support extended-hours trading operations to ensure market stability and client service.
• Act as an escalation point for market events and incidents, coordinating with teams to resolve issues.
• Undertake market recovery actions including late market starts, trading halts and resumptions, and instrument suspensions.
• Provide real-time operational support for market activities across the LSE 24/5 market.
• Perform structured shift handovers and maintain operational continuity across regional teams supporting the LSE 24/5 market.
• Identify and minimize risks by reviewing risk indicators and tracking remediation actions.
• Lead and maintain real-time instrument and reference data.
• Serve as first-line contact for client queries and disputes.
• Collaborate with products, teams and business areas to improve services.
• Provide weekend and bank holiday coverage as needed.
• Partner with Project Managers, Technology, and Sales/Trading on system enhancements.
