Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a warm, female Live-In Support Worker to join a client’s care team in the Gosport area. You will provide person-centred support, helping with daily routines, meals, and companionship while building a trusting relationship.

The role offers flexible shift patterns (1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off) and benefits including paid training, holiday pay, a Nest pension, and ongoing leadership support to help you develop your career in home care.

Qualifications

• Female Live-In Support Worker required (due to genuine occupational requirement)
• Ability to provide personal care and emotional support
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support with day-to-day activities.
• Supporting morning and evening routines.
• Preparing meals considering preferences and dietary needs.
• Helping with household duties and keeping the home tidy.
• Accompanying client on outings and visits to family.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encouraging independence and choice wherever possible.
• Building a trusting, patient, person-centred relationship.
