Live in Caretaker/Security/Handyman Job in Berkshire

This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a private family on their estate in Berkshire.

The ideal candidate will be confident in general maintenance with an eye for detail and finish. A proactive and practical approach to work and happy to help where needed.

Working as part of a wider estates management team you will be professional and upkeep discretion of the private residence. Friendly, with a good sense of humour and pet friendly is a must.

Duties:

Security of the estate

Monitoring contractors

Investigating perimeter breaches, alarms and to generally be aware of what is happening on a daily basis

General maintenance such as basic repairs for reactive works or minor projects

Painting and decorating

Driving duties as and when needed

Assisting the gardeners with basic garden maintenance tasks

Provide cover for other estates staff when absent

Occasional care of the family dogs

Accommodation: 2 bedroom property on site. Partners and well behaved pets welcome.

Working days & hours: Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm with some flexibility needed to work outside of these.

Driving: Full clean driving licence is necessary for the role

Start: August onwards
