About the Live-in Carer (Self Employed) job in Cranleigh

We're looking for warm, caring, and professional Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Cranleigh who are passionate about helping others live independently at home. Working in live-in care gives you the opportunity to provide dedicated one-to-one support while building genuine relationships with the people you care for.

In your role as a Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Cranleigh, you'll support clients with everyday activities, personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, and household tasks. Your support will help them remain safe, comfortable, and confident in familiar surroundings.

We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.

What you'll do

• Support clients with everyday living tasks
• Provide person-centred care within their own homes
• Assist with personal care and grooming
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help with mobility and daily activities
• Prepare meals and drinks
• Administer medication safely and correctly
• Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Support with shopping and other essential errands
• Monitor clients' wellbeing and report concerns
• Keep care notes up to date and accurate
• Help clients live comfortably, safely and independently at home

What you'll bring

• Experience providing care or support to others
• A compassionate and patient nature
• Confidence supporting clients on a one-to-one basis
• Strong communication and people skills
• The ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
• A commitment to delivering outstanding care
• Experience working independently
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience with medication support is desirable
• Previous live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
