Job summary

Medicare People Limited is seeking Live-in Carers (Self-Employed) to work in Reigate and surrounding areas. You will provide one-to-one care in clients' homes, supporting with personal care, companionship, meals, mobility, and daily routines, while earning competitive weekly pay.

The role offers flexible placements, accommodation during placement, food allowance, and continuous support from a responsive team. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of UK care experience
• A kind, caring and compassionate personality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence working within clients' homes
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Flexibility to travel and work in different locations
• Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience administering medication is desirable
• Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care within the client's home
• Support clients with personal care and hygiene needs
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities
• Prepare nutritious meals and encourage hydration
• Administer and record medication as required
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Complete important errands when needed
• Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate daily care records
• Communicate effectively with families and professionals
• Promote independence and improve quality of life

As a Live-in Carer (Self- Employed) in Reigate , you'll provide personalised support tailored to each client's needs, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication prompts, and assistance with daily routines. We offer flexible placements to suit a range of lifestyles and levels of experience, along with ongoing support from our friendly care team.

With placements available across Reigate and surrounding areas, we'll work closely with you to find opportunities that match your skills and preferences.

We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.
