Job summary

Medicare People in Tonbridge is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred support in clients' homes. You will help with daily tasks, personal care, meals, companionship and medication assistance, enabling clients to live safely and independently.

Flexible placements from 4 days to 8 weeks with full training and ongoing care-management support. Previous UK care experience is valued; NVQ2/3 welcomed, but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication experience is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care within clients' homes.

About the Live-in Carer job in Tonbridge

At Medicare People, we're looking for kind and dedicated Live-in Carer in Tonbridge to provide high-quality live-in care and support. This role allows you to make a lasting difference by helping people continue living comfortably and independently in their own homes.

As a Live-in Carer in Tonbridge, you'll provide personalised assistance tailored to each client's needs, helping with daily activities, personal care, companionship, medication support, and practical tasks around the home.

What you'll do

• Support clients with everyday living tasks
• Provide person-centred care within their own homes
• Assist with personal care and grooming
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help with mobility and daily activities
• Prepare meals and drinks
• Administer medication safely and correctly
• Carry out light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Support with shopping and other essential errands
• Monitor clients' wellbeing and report concerns
• Keep care notes up to date and accurate
• Help clients live comfortably, safely and independently at home
