Job summary

Medicare People is seeking a caring Live-in Carer in Dartford to support clients in their own homes, promoting independence and wellbeing. The role offers flexibility with placements from 4 days to 8 weeks and a supportive team to assist you.

You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and medication administration while maintaining a clean home environment and clear care notes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care welcomed but not essential.
• A caring attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication experience is desirable.
• Confidence working independently and managing your time.
• Adaptability and a positive approach to care.
• Reliability, professionalism and attention to detail.

• Support clients to live independently in their own homes
• Provide high-quality person-centred care
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals and support healthy hydration

• Complete shopping and other essential errands
• Monitor changes in wellbeing and report concerns
