Medicare People Limited is recruiting experienced self-employed Live-in Carers for placements in Dorking and surrounding areas. You’ll provide person-centred care in clients’ homes, building trust with families, while enjoying flexible rotations and free accommodation.

Weekly earnings start from £830+ depending on placement. We do not sponsor visas, but offer introductions to private clients, ongoing support, and refresher training to help you develop your live-in care career.

Qualifications

• Previous professional care experience is preferred.
• A caring, patient and compassionate nature.
• Confidence working independently within a client's home.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• The ability to adapt to different clients and care needs.
• Reliability and a professional attitude.
• A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
• Experience supporting people with daily living activities.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medication administration experience is desirable.
• Live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care within clients' homes
• Build meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming
• Support mobility and safe moving and handling
• Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration
• Administer medication in line with care plans
• Support light household duties, including cleaning and laundry
• Run errands such as shopping and collecting prescriptions
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
• Keep accurate and detailed care records
• Deliver meaningful one-to-one support that promotes independence

About the Live-in Carer Job in Dorking (Self-Employed)

Medicare People is seeking experienced self-employed Live-in Carers in Dorking to support people who require assistance with everyday living. Our introductory care service introduces carers directly to families seeking reliable and compassionate support at home.

As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Dorking, you'll work closely with clients to deliver care that matches their individual needs and preferences. This could include personal care, mobility support, medication assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and day-to-day practical help.

This rewarding opportunity allows you to deliver personalised care while building lasting relationships with clients and their families. You'll help individuals maintain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes for longer.

We work with families throughout Dorking and surrounding communities, creating opportunities for self-employed carers to secure live-in care placements.
