Job summary

Bluebird Care Pontypridd is seeking a compassionate Live-in Care Assistant to provide tailored personal care in customers' homes in Pontypridd. You will promote independence, assist with daily tasks, manage medications and prepare meals while working alongside a supportive care team.

The role offers a weekly salary of £729–£852, paid breaks, induction and expert training. Accommodation is provided during placement, with flexible patterns and 24/7 support.

• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care like washing, dressing, toileting and mobility
• Manage their medication and prep their meals
• Take care of household tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Support customers in staying connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
• Work independently while staying connected with our care team for support and guidance
