Job summary

Bluebird Care Pontypridd is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our Care Expert Team, delivering high-quality care in clients' own homes in Pontypridd and surrounding areas. You will work flexibly with full induction and expert training, supporting daily living activities, meal prep, personal care, and medication assistance, while building trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• 2+ years of care experience in the UK.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
