A good Care Professional is simply someone who truly cares - they do the job because they know they can make a difference to an individual’s life, injecting some humour into a day, helping with small chores that improve clients’ quality of life, providing reassurance where confidence is low and lifting morale during those lonely moments. For this role you will need a minimum of 6 months experience within a Live in role and additional training will be provided if required.
Role Highlights:
Personal care: bathing, dressing and medication supervision
● Morning and bedtime routines
● Meal preparation and assistance
● Light housework: laundry, cooking and cleaning
● Companionship and social interaction
● Social activities and errands
● Ensuring client safety and welfare
● Communicating with family and healthcare professionals
● Adhering to Abicare’s policies and procedures

About The Role
What We’re Looking For:
This role is only suitable for female carers who hold a full UK driving licence
You will need to be available for a minimum of 4 weeks at a time
● At least 6 months of live-in care experience
● Experience with moving,handling, and hoists
● Understanding of good care practices
● Kind, caring nature, and desire to make a difference
● Strong written and communication skills
● Ability to work independently and in a team
● Calm attitude and logical thinking under pressure
● Ability to prepare simple, hygienic meals
Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Note: Visa sponsorship is not available; you must have permission to work in the UK.
