Medicare People is seeking self-employed Live-in Carers in Shoreham by Sea to provide person-centred care in clients' homes, supporting daily living activities and wellbeing. As a live-in carer, you’ll be matched based on your skills and experience, with ongoing support from Medicare People and potential repeat assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, professional, and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care within clients' homes.
• Build meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and safe moving and handling.
• Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Support light household duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Run errands such as shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Keep accurate and detailed care records.
• Deliver meaningful one-to-one support that promotes independence.

About the Live-in Carer Job in Shoreham by Sea (Self-Employed)

Medicare People is looking for dedicated self-employed Live-in Carers in Shoreham by Sea to support people who wish to remain in their own homes rather than move into residential care. Through our introductory service, we match experienced carers with families seeking personalised support.

As a self-employed Live-in Carer in Shoreham by Sea , you'll provide one-to-one assistance tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication support, mobility assistance, and helping maintain daily routines.
