Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Your duties will include:

Personal Care & Wellbeing:

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Encouraging and supporting medication routines
  • Helping customers eat well and stay hydrated

Daily Living Support:

  • Shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Using mobility aids safely (e.g., wheelchairs, hoists)
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment

Companionship & Social Activities:

  • Encouraging hobbies, games, and reminiscence activities
  • Supporting customers with visits, appointments, and outings
  • Helping with correspondence, phone calls, and social engagement

Health & Safety Monitoring:

  • Observing and reporting changes in health or wellbeing
  • Recording care provided and liaising with healthcare professionals
  • Following Bluebird Care policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols
