Job summary

Noble Live-In Care is seeking a Live-in Care Assistant to support a client at home, promoting safety, comfort and independence. You will provide personal care, companionship, transport to appointments, meal preparation, medication support, light housework and ongoing reassurance throughout placements across the UK.

Ideal candidates are female, hold a full UK driving licence, have UK care experience, and can commit to a two-week live-in rotation with travel across the UK.

• At least six months of care experience in the UK.
• Two-week live-in placement without returning home.
• Willing to travel across the UK for placements.
• Confident planning, preparing and cooking meals.

• Compassionate, resilient, reliable and able to work independently.

What you’ll do

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you’ll support your client to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own home.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care and support with daily routines
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Driving the client to appointments, activities and social outings
• Planning, preparing and cooking suitable meals
• Supporting with medication where required
• Shopping and completing light household tasks
• Helping the client remain as active and independent as possible
• Providing reassurance and support throughout the placement

You must be comfortable in the kitchen and able to plan and cook a range of nutritious everyday meals based on the client’s needs, dietary requirements and preferences.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Be female, due to the client’s personal care requirements
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be confident and willing to drive the client as required
• Have at least six months of care experience gained in the UK
• Be able to work a minimum two-week live-in placement without returning home
• Be willing to travel to placements across the UK
• Be confident planning, preparing and cooking meals
• Have the right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship
• Be compassionate, resilient, reliable and comfortable working independently
