Job summary

Building Careers UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead live construction projects up to £2 million, mainly in occupied buildings across the North West, including education, healthcare and public sector environments.

You will manage day-to-day delivery, coordinate site teams, subcontractors and clients, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality. The role offers a competitive salary, long-term opportunity, and a strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a building contractor.
• Experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong organisational, commercial and programme management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for delivering projects from pre-start through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor programmes, budgets and project performance.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Plan works effectively within live environments to minimise disruption.
