Building Careers UK is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and new build projects across the North West. You’ll lead multiple live projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence and high quality, while coordinating with Site Managers, commercial teams and clients.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and maintaining excellent client relationships in live environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager in construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience refurbishments in live environments.
• Experience in education/healthcare/public sector would be beneficial.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.
• Good commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• Desirable SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for several projects, ensuring delivery safely, on programme, within budget and to high quality.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, commercial teams and clients to lead across multiple projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure minimal disruption within live environments.
