Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to support production, repair and modification of defence products. You will use a range of tools and inspection instruments to meet build standards and data requirements, striving for high-quality workmanship and safety.

A strong team player with planning skills is essential. The role offers hybrid working with predominantly on-site presence and a salary around £41,000 dependent on experience, plus a company bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering & manufacturing apprenticeship completed.
• Level 3 qualification (academic or vocational) in manufacturing/mech/elec.
• Experience with manufacturing data & processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, repair and modification of products to standards.
• Be proficient with equipment, tools and measuring instruments.
• Meet manufacturing build and inspection times and data requirements.
• Maintain workmanship and product quality to procedures.
• Certify and audits in line with certification procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping.
