Job summary
QVC Group, Inc. is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to support UK operations, reporting to the Broadcast Engineering Operations Manager.
The role provides system support for the broadcast infrastructure and end-user assistance, including root cause analysis of escalated incidents. You will work onsite at the Media and Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park on a shift basis, ensuring 24x7x365 availability of broadcasting systems, and developing standards and procedures for video routing, audio mixing,
Qualifications
- Experience or qualification in broadcast technology or related field.
- Ability to analyse escalated incidents and provide root cause analysis.
- Strong familiarity with broadcasting equipment and standard practices.
Responsibilities
- Impart technical expertise of established broadcasting standards to the team.
- Manage and optimize system performance for 24x7x365 availability.
- Develop and document standards for all broadcasting systems.
- Provide system support for video routers, audio mixers, cameras and playout platforms.
- Offer after-hours support for omni-channel broadcasting services.
- Proficient with MS Office and Visio; work across Windows and Linux environments.
