Job summary

Broadcast Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced drone pilot to operate BATCAM systems live on air, planning and setting up the aircraft, performing pre-flight checks, and following the site plan and safety case. You will fly the director's requested shot, work with camera crews and production staff, and deliver consistent performance in tight schedules, often in poor weather.

UK and overseas travel for events is required, and you should be eager to learn new tech, with an interest in AI

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience flying drones to a high level.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and away fixtures.
• Willing to travel overseas for international events.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence.
• Be calm under pressure with clear headset communication.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and set up BATCAM aircraft and perform pre-flight checks.
• Fly the shot the director asks for and work with the site plan and safety case.
• Coordinate with camera crews and production staff, delivering consistent performance under tight schedules.
• Pack down and conclude operations at the end of the day.
