Job summary

Kudos AV Ltd. produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, basing in Uxbridge. Freelance crews are booked when needed, with regulars returning for good work.

We operate multi camera live shoots with IMAG and hybrid streams, delivering reliable coverage across London and the UK for around 500 events a year.

Qualifications

• Professional live event camera or vision mixing experience, not just studio work.
• Able to work with broadcast cameras, tripods and CCUs, or with switchers such as ATEM and vMix.
• Understanding of live streaming platforms, bitrates and redundancy.

Responsibilities

• Operate cameras on live events, tracking speakers and staying ahead of the running order.
• Vision mix IMAG and record feeds for conferences and ceremonies.
• Set up and run live streams, including encoders, platforms and comfort monitoring.
• Match shots and exposure across operators, and work to the director or crew chief.
• Load in, load out and look after the kit.

Shoot and cut live events: multi camera conferences, award ceremonies and hybrid streams that go out clean the first time.

Kudos AV produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, around 500 a year, from our base in Uxbridge. The core team is full time; when a build needs more hands we book freelancers we know, and the people who do good work get booked again and again.

For camera and streaming that means multi camera shoots with IMAG, hybrid conferences going out to remote audiences, and awards nights where the winner walk up has to be on screen before the applause dies.

What you will do

• Operate cameras on live events, tracking speakers and staying ahead of the running order.
• Vision mix IMAG and record feeds for conferences and ceremonies.
• Set up and run live streams, including encoders, platforms and comfort monitoring.
• Match shots and exposure across operators, and work to the director or crew chief.
• Load in, load out and look after the kit.

What we are looking for

• Professional live event camera or vision mixing experience, not just studio or wedding work.
• Confident with broadcast cameras, tripods and CCUs, or with switchers such as ATEM and vMix.
• Understanding of live streaming platforms, bitrates and redundancy.
• Able to work events across London and the UK.

Useful but not essential

• Both disciplines: operators who mix and mixers who shoot get booked most.
• Your own PLI.
• A full UK driving licence.
