Job summary

NEP Group in the United Kingdom seeks an Electronics Service Engineer to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain AV and LED display equipment in their Creative Technology rental inventory. You will work with Operations and Technical teams to keep equipment project-ready and compliant with safety standards.

You will perform electrical and mechanical repairs, support field servicing, and help manage parts stock while promoting safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with three-phase power systems (desirable).
• Competent in soldering and PCB fault tracing.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair LED displays and professional AV equipment.
• Perform board- and component-level repairs including soldering and hot air rework.
• Maintain power distribution systems, incl. 400V three-phase.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and failures.
• Take part in firmware updates, calibration, and performance testing.
