Job summary

Proper Recruitment are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their Dispute Resolution team in a hybrid role. Manage a varied caseload of complex disputes and contribute to department growth.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years PQE in litigation, strong CPR knowledge, and the ability to manage matters from inception to completion, with client-facing excellence and potential ADR experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in civil litigation with a strong disputes background.
• Experience handling complex, multi-party or high-value disputes.
• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and court processes.
• Ability to manage cases independently from inception to completion.
• Excellent client management, communication and analytical skills.
• ADR, cross-border litigation and business development experience beneficial.
• Competitive DOE salary expectation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload including commercial disputes, contract claims, property disputes and regulatory litigation
• Provide strategic and commercially focused advice from initial instruction through to resolution
• Handle matters involving negotiation, mediation and trial
• Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, expert reports and other litigation documents
• Manage court proceedings and liaise with clients, counsel, courts and third parties
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Litigation Department
