Key qualifications and skills include:

1. Strong background in contentious probate litigation
2. Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules, SRA regulations, and relevant codes of practice
3. Ability to build relationships and communicate confidently

Responsibilities:

1. Managing a full caseload as a fee earner
2. Conducting pre-claim investigations, legal research, and case evaluations
3. Providing legal advice on contentious matters
4. Drafting pleadings, statements, and pre-issue documents
5. Filing documents with the court
6. Attending court hearings and conferences
7. Preparing exhibits, evidence, and briefs
8. Managing documentation and meeting deadlines
9. Communicating with internal and external parties
10. Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
