Job Overview

Law Staff Legal Recruitment is seeking a Senior Inhouse Commercial Solicitor to join a respected Regulatory Organisation. You will oversee a legal team of 5, ensuring efficient and legally robust contract management aligned with the organisation's commercial objectives.

Key Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEx with at least 5 years PQE
  • Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a legal setting
  • Extensive experience in reviewing and drafting complex commercial contracts
  • Proficiency in contract management software and legal technologies
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adaptability in dynamic environments
Main Responsibilities
  1. Contract Review & Drafting: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts such as NDAs, supply, service, partnership, and SaaS agreements. Ensure legal soundness, risk mitigation, and compliance.
  2. Team Management: Lead and develop the legal team, manage workloads, and foster professional growth.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders, supporting commercial strategies and protecting business interests.
  4. Training & Development: Develop training programs and promote continuous learning within the team.
