Overview

Litigation Solicitor role at TieTalent. Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Litigator required. Based in Hertfordshire/M25 borders with easy connections from Finsbury Park, Walthamstow, Stevenage, Enfield. Full-time or Part-time hours can be offered — flexible with start and finish times. Base salary between £60,000 p.a. to £70,000 p.a. plus a generous bonus package. Around 5-8+ years PQE. The firm is friendly and progressive and seeks to hire to join their established Litigation team.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand the civil litigation department; much of the work is internally generated, with scope to expand the client base through your own networking and business development.

Responsibilities

• Acting for private individuals and businesses
• Dealing with cases from start to finish striving for a favourable outcome for clients
• Issuing court proceedings
• Dealing with General Civil Litigation, Residential & Commercial Landlord & Tenant cases & Dilapidations
• Mediation and dispute resolution

Qualifications and experience

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years PQE dealing with Civil & Property Litigation proceedings
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent knowledge of CPR, able to demonstrate that knowledge in interview
• Experience of dealing with proceedings in all courts
• Ideally have experience of residential and commercial landlord and tenant work and dilapidations (not essential)
• Must be organised and proactive in your approach
• Able to delegate and work in a team
• Must have high levels of client satisfaction and keep clients well informed with progress
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in mediation and dispute resolution
