Job summary

Vasto Legal Recruitment Ltd is assisting a highly regarded London law firm in recruiting an experienced Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE). The role involves a split caseload across property and general civil litigation, with a hybrid pattern of 3 days in office and 2 days remote from offices near Chelsea or Hampstead.

You will manage your own varied caseload, handle landlord/tenant disputes, boundary and ownership issues, and have opportunities for client relationship building and business

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ PQE and strong experience in contentious work across property and civil litigation.
• Ability to manage own caseload independently and meet competing deadlines.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills; high standard of client care.
• Commercially minded and able to contribute to department growth.

We're working closely with a Legal 500 firm, which is highly tiered across multiple practice areas. well-respected law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its team. This is a varied role offering a split caseload across both property litigation and general civil litigation.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys handling a broad range of contentious matters, building strong client relationships and taking ownership of their work within a supportive team.

They have 2 offices in London, near Chelsea and Hampstead, and this role can be based out of either one on a hybrid workign arrangment so 3 days in the office and 2 remotely.

The Role

You’ll manage your own varied caseload across property litigation and civil litigation, including:

• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Commercial and residential property disputes
• Boundary and ownership disputes
• Contractual disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Debt recovery and general civil disputes

You’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and professional contacts, contribute to business development and support the continued growth of the department.

Requirements

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor with around (5+ PQE) and strong experience in contentious work, ideally across both property litigation and general civil litigation.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong technical knowledge across property and civil litigation
• Is confident managing their own caseload independently
• Has excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
• Provides a high standard of client care and practical legal advice
• Can manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Enjoys building long-term client relationships
• Is commercially minded and keen to contribute to the growth of the team
