Job summary

Alton Core LTD in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a growing team. You will manage a diverse caseload from instruction to resolution and interact confidently with clients and other legal professionals.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Solicitor status, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team. This is an opportunity to progress within a expanding Liverpool practice.

Qualifications

Litigation Solicitor - Liverpool

Alton Core is working with an established law firm that is expanding its Liverpool presence and is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of litigation matters, progressing cases from instruction through to resolution and dealing confidently with clients, third parties and other legal professionals.

The firm is particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• Debt recovery / recovery litigation
• Housing disrepair
• Civil litigation
• Related contentious matters

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Solicitor status
• Relevant experience in litigation
• Experience managing their own caseload
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of litigation procedure, court processes and deadlines
• Excellent client communication skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team

Experienced litigation paralegals / fee earners may also be considered where they have substantial relevant experience and can demonstrate the ability to manage litigation matters with a high degree of independence.
