Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment has an exciting opportunity in Liverpool for a newly qualified Dispute Resolution Solicitor to start their career with a growing Legal 500 firm that puts its people first.

You will work directly with the managing partner and senior disputes colleagues, gaining hands-on experience across a broad litigation caseload, including commercial litigation, professional negligence, insolvency and landlord/tenant matters. Mentoring is strong and development is a real focus.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified Solicitor who has completed a seat in litigation, or has worked in a contentious role.

Responsibilities

The Role

You will work directly alongside the managing partner and senior members of the disputes team, gaining hands-on experience across a genuinely broad and interesting litigation caseload from day one. This is a role where you will be supported at every step, given real exposure to complex matters and encouraged to develop your skills

The breadth of work on offer is a real strength of this role, spanning:

• Commercial litigation including shareholder disputes and breach of contract claims
• Complex professional negligence matters
• Contentious insolvency cases
• Civil litigation including contentious trusts and probate and landlord and tenant disputes
