Litigation Solicitor

Monday Friday 9am 5pm

We have partnered with a well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their Civil Litigation department. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload support departmental growth and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services. The ideal candidate will be proactive client-focused and keen to advance their career within a reputable and forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters (e.g. landlord and tenant issues boundary and neighbour disputes debt recovery and related areas).
  • Provide clear strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Draft pleadings correspondence witness statements and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare court documents.
  • Attend court hearings mediations and settlement negotiations.
  • Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate file management.
  • Contribute to business development and networking activities as required.
Requirements
  • 4 years PQE.
  • Ability to independently manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.
  • Excellent client care skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
