Job summary

US Law Support in London is recruiting a brand-new Paralegal to join the London office of a leading US law firm. The role is permanent and supports the expanding Litigation team, offering high-quality work and exposure.

Typical duties include legal research, document management, preparing witness statements, liaising with clients and witnesses, and assisting with BD activities. A strong academic background and prior litigation experience are desirable; hybrid working is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background and relevant paralegal experience.
• Prior experience in a litigation paralegal role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated knowledge of High Court filing and Civil Procedure Rules is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage document production and case management for documents.
• Collect materials from clients and third parties and track progress.
• Carry out legal and factual research.
• Analyse and proofread documents; check legal cites.
• Compile bundles and appendices.
• Prepare witness statements and interview notes.
• Support trial and hearing preparation.
• Liaise with witnesses, experts, clients and court personnel.
• Assist with BD and marketing materials.
• Manage the know-how system.
