Fletchers Group in Southport is seeking a driven Litigation Executive to manage 100–150 RTA MOJ portal personal injury files with hybrid working. You will value claims, negotiate settlements and support vulnerable road users.

Based in Southport, you will balance homeworking with in-office collaboration, aiming to maximise recovery while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent client care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 100–150 RTA MOJ portal personal injury claims.
• Progress claims through all stages of the MOJ portal including liability assessment, CNFs, medical evidence, and settlement.
• Negotiate settlements with compensators/insurers.
• Identify cases for escalation, litigation or technical input and refer accordingly.
• Provide high standard of client care and keep clients updated throughout the claim lifecycle.

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Litigation Executive to join our specialist Personal Injury team, focusing on 2-Wheel RTA claims within the MOJ Portal. Based in Southport with hybrid working, this is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied caseload of fast-track claims while delivering exceptional client care and strong commercial outcomes.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a caseload of 100–150 RTA personal injury files (up to £25,000), progressing claims efficiently from instruction through to settlement or escalation. You’ll play a key part in achieving performance targets, maximising recovery, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and procedural standards.

We’re seeking someone with hands‑on MOJ Portal experience, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach, who is confident valuing claims, negotiating settlements, and supporting vulnerable road users. Main Responsibilities :

• Manage a caseload of approximately 100-150 RTA MOJ portal personal injury claims.
• Progress claims through all stages of the MOJ portal including;
  • Initial review and liability assessment.
  • Submission of Claim Notification Forms (CNFs).
  • Instructing medical experts
  • Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence
  • Assessing quantum so to value claims up to £25,000.
  • Identifying cases that have the potential to exceed £25,000.
  • Preparing settlement packs.
  • Negotiating settlement with compensators/insurers.
  • Exiting cases form the portal where appropriate and in a timely manner.
• Deliver timely progression of files in line with KPI requirements, service standards and procedural deadlines.
• Maximise damages recovery, costs recovery and settlement outcomes whilst balancing commercial and client objectives.
• Maintain accurate case management records, diary systems and file notes.
• Identify cases requiring escalation, litigation or technical input and refer accordingly.
• Provide a high standard of client care, keeping clients regularly updated and managing expectations throughout the life of the claim.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience of dealing with personal injury claims.
• Understanding of the MOJ portal.
• Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure rules
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with clients.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Target Driven.
• Awareness of business needs and assisting with other teams within the department should the need arise.
• Experience in dealing with more than one medical report and valuing multiple injuries is essential.
• As most of the claims will involve vulnerable road user claims (motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians), knowledge of appropriate caselaw and Highway Code.
