Recruit4staff are representing a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging manufacturer in Crewe for a Lithographic Printer. The role involves operating Komori GLX 6-colour and LS40 presses alongside Heidelberg XL75, producing high-quality carton packaging to customer specifications.

You will complete make-readies, support production efficiency, direct colleagues when required, and carry out planned maintenance to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery.

Formación

• Proven experience operating lithographic printing machinery within a carton print environment.
• Ability to produce high-quality printed products to customer specifications.
• Experience completing make-readies and maintaining press performance.
• Strong technical printing knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Komori GLX 6-colour and LS40 presses alongside Heidelberg XL75 to produce carton packaging.
• Complete make-readies and support production efficiency.
• Direct colleagues when required and carry out planned maintenance.

Lithographic Printer to work in

Crewe

• Pay: £41,775.68 per annum, rising to £45,005.29 inclusive of shift allowance
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 1:25 pm / 1:20 pm - 9:00 pm | Friday: 6:00 am - 1:00 pm / 12:55 pm - 6:55 pm (Double Days)

Job Role:

The Lithographic Printer will operate Komori GLX 6-colour and LS40 presses alongside Heidelberg XL75 machinery, producing high-quality carton packaging products in line with customer specifications. Responsibilities include completing make-readies, supporting production efficiency, directing colleagues when required, and carrying out planned maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lithographic Printer within a specialist packaging environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating lithographic printing machinery within a carton print environment
• Ability to produce high-quality printed products to customer specifications
• Experience completing make-readies and maintaining press performance

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Experience running Komori GLX / GL640 or Heidelberg XL75 presses
• Working knowledge of PQC/PQA v6
• Understanding of PDF comparator software
• Knowledge of print, carton, and leaflet manufacturing
