Job summary

Ruskin Mill Trust Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an English Teaching Lead to assume middle‑leadership responsibility for Literacy. Qualifications

• QTS and subject leader experience coordinating, leading and quality assuring Literacy/English.
• Experience with the National Curriculum framework of assessment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a practical approach to engaging pupils.
• Experience working with children with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities.
• Experience across multiple key stages and preparing students for examinations and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and quality assure the Literacy/English curriculum across the school.
• Lead the development and delivery of practical, experiential and therapeutic literacy education.
• Collaborate with middle leadership to ensure consistent planning and assessment.
